Video Based Training Resources for MSEC Members

MSEC understands that not every training situation is the same, nor does each call for the same type of training resource. That's why we've partnered with Business Training Library (BTL) to offer smaller companies (fewer than 500 employees) the opportunity to access media-based training resources as part of their training solution.

They have two video based solutions available to MSEC members:

Streaming Video Library:
Employees today are accustomed to getting the information they need via the Internet. Google, YouTube, MapQuest and other websites have changed the way we get things done. The Streaming Video Library from Business Training Library will do the same for employee training - making high-quality, video-based training available anytime, anywhere, all at an affordable cost.

Some of the biggest benefits of the Streaming Video Library include:

  • Large Selection of High-Quality Programs - The Streaming Video Library contains more than 400 high-quality online video programs covering all areas of business. There is something for every employee and every department in your organization.
  • ConvenienceConsistency - All employees will get the same message every time, regardless of where or when they view the programs.
  • Measurable Results - Every program includes a quiz to measure what your employees are learning. Employees' training activity and progress is tracked real-time so your managers and supervisors can quickly get the information they need.
  • Easy-to-Use - These programs take advantage of the latest in learning technologies but they've been designed to be extremely easy to use.
  • Flexible - Project our courses for your group training sessions or offer them in a self-paced environment. You decide!

Lending Library:
Members of the Lending Libraries can borrow and exchange training courses from the extensive catalog of over 2,000 video, CD and DVD training programs from the business and soft skills area and the computer skills library.

  • Large Selection - BTL's comprehensive Libraries contain more than 2,000 high-quality video and DVD programs covering all areas of business from over 50 different vendors.
  • Unlimited Usage - Instead of purchasing training and personal development videos and DVDs, join their Lending Library service and "borrow" what you need from a multi-million-dollar inventory. There is no limit to the number of programs you can use. Keep borrowed programs as long as you like. Trade them in at any time for other programs.
  • Quality Resources - They carry only high-quality training programs. Every program selected must meet or exceed the highest standards and expectations of business professionals. And they're adding more all of the time. You always have something new and exciting to use.
  • Superior Support Materials - Many programs in the Library offer comprehensive leader's materials designed to make your training sessions easy to administer. Participant materials are also available for many programs to help the message stick.
